Product Overview
The Razor-MIG205SS is a high-quality inverter multifunction welder with Smart-Set™ a unique semi-synergic operating system for MIG welding with 0.8 & 0.9mm solid wires. With Smart Set™ simply select the wire diameter & gas type from the Smart-Set™ dial and start welding. You can adjust your wire-speed to suit the conditions and the Smart-Set™ system automatically matches the voltage to suit, ensuring excellent results every time. The flexibility of Smart-Set™ also allows the operator to make fine adjustment of the voltage to personalize the arc characteristic. The MIG function provides Gas and Gasless wire capability and the latest 40KHz inverter technology at the heart of the machine delivers simply outstanding arc characteristics and performance. The Razor-MIG205SS is also Spoolgun-Ready and allows simple connection of the XASP240 Spoolgun for use with soft or very thin wires that often don’t have the column strength to successfully feed through standard Mig Torches, such as aluminum wire. The Lift-Arc DC-TIG function delivers perfect arc ignition every time and a remarkably smooth stable arc produces high quality TIG welds. Increased DC-TIG functionality includes adjustable Down Slope & Post Gas, made possible via use of a Euro-Connect Tig Torch. The MMA welding capability delivers easy welding with electrodes producing high quality welds including cast Iron, stainless steel and low hydrogen. The Razor-MIG205SS is such an easy to use and highly versatile machine it makes it an ideal choice for both the novice right through to the professional welder.
